Nearby lake with beach and childrens facilities, 5 minutes away. Lake Eguzon, a large reservoir, has all water activities including sailing and water skiing. Lac Saint Pardue has swimming, fishing, boating, sailing, sandy beaches, pizzerias and bars.

Swimming, fishing, walking, restaurants, banks etc are all within 10 miles or closer depending on your needs.

Les Herolles boasts a 400 year old large market that takes place on the 29th day of each month. Markets every Sunday in surrounding villages.

Things to Do

Many of the lakes in the area have beaches and swimming. Our nearest lake is at Chaillac, about 5 miles away, with slides and play areas.

Lac Eguzon, a large reservoir has all water activities including sailing and water skiing.

Lac St Pardoux. About 30 minutes away, has swimming, fishing, boating and sailing with sandy beaches, Pizzerias, resturants and Bars.

Fishing is at Chaillac also as well as at a lot of other Rivers and Lakes.

There are many walks in and around Les Herolles. Nearby rivers and lakes abound with fish and wild life.

The Parc de la Brenne is close by with its woods for deer and wild boar and so many lakes and rivers and their own visitors centres and web sites.

Poitiers has Futurescope, Limoges has a Zoo, La Trimouille has l'Ile aux Serpents, restaurants and bars.

For swimmers there is a lake close by, Argenton has a big indoor pool

Argenton is a lovely shopping town if you like little shops, or take a trip to Chateauroux if you like big shops.

If you want a day out on the train you can travel to Limoges or Poitiers.
